Licensed Clinical Social Worker, MSW, MA, RYT-200
Tongqing Zhu

I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), and I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches. I specialize in helping children and teens manage academic stress, peer issues, and low mood. My training allows me to understand both teen needs and parent concerns, providing effective support for the whole family.
A key focus of my practice is bicultural parenting. Many immigrant families balance Western parenting with their cultural values, which can create misunderstandings. I help parents better understand their teens’ experiences and build stronger, culturally sensitive relationships.
